I heard about Salad Money through a colleague and needed the loan to help with the cost of moving house, although in the end I didn’t need to move. I am jointly responsible for the financial decisions and I share responsibility with my partner. I do think the fact Salad Money offer loans without checking credit scores is good, as I have had issues in the past obtaining credit.
I am unsure if my employer offers help as it is not actively advertised. I found the application process very simple and easy - and overall find you much simpler to use and with much less hassle when compared with other companies. I had no concerns about the Open Banking check, nor about managing my repayments as they have been fine so far. £1000 was enough for my needs at the time so I probably wouldn't have gone for a higher loan if offered.
